A โ€˜picoโ€™ is a typical Colombian soundsystem as can be found on the Caribbean coast, with itโ€™s huge width and fluorescent colors. El Magico Baobab hails from Netherlands, where they build a pico soundsystem according to the Colombian measurements and with a hand-painted screen design by the famous Colombian pico painter William Guitterez Peรฑaloza.

DJโ€™s and live groups will be playing on this pico soundsystem for a true Colombian tropical vibe โ€“ cumbia, baila cantaos, currulao, tambora, gaita, champeta, salsa and moreโ€ฆ.

Sun 16.08 > Rebel Up & Friends @ Saintklet Summer weekend #1, Saintklet terrace, Bxl

This weekend starts the programme of the new Saintklet outdoor terrace!

Saintklet wants to play a pivotal role in the development of the canal area, together with local institutions. The core idea for creating this space was that we wanted to keep it public, meaning free for everyone to use.
This crisis has taught us that safe public spaces are in decline.
Local initiatives and citizen collectives have to work together to make sure they stay accessible, even during a pandemic.

On sunday from 17:00 – 22:00 we will do a takeover with Rebel Up & Friends with a sweet local lineup!

The CamioZinzo AKA Lucid soundsystem is once more released in the park of Allee du Kaai on Saturday, next to the Zinzinerie.

Rebel Up has been invited together with Le Grand Mechant Loop and Rafael Aragon for the occasion to make you dance on afrobeat, cumbia, ethno techno and other global styles all afternoon!

Album release party of our friends Gato Preto, to celebrate their new album ‘Tempo’ out on Kudos Records. Check it out here. At our latest Rebel Up nightshop show we played it as our album of the month.
Gato Preto’s sound is Afro bass & kuduro via Mozambique & Ghana. With Gata Misteriosa on vocals for some pure Afro female power and producer Lee Bass behind the machines. Also they will be aided by female rapper AWA from Zimbabwe.
