Friday 17 november, Rebel Up & Figura Kollective organise Eastim night: A ViceVersa Story at Antidote (CityGate) in Brussels. Exchange project between Brussels and Timișoara (Romania), the cultural capital of 2023.
This event is a celebration of the European ideals of equal opportunities and unity in diversity, echoing the harmonious blend of cultures that define our globalized, multicultural world.
Based on the integration of the migrant community of Timișoara, through music into the artistic fiber of the city, this Figura Kollective initiative aimed to showcase that music transcends borders and acts as a bridge across civilizations.

DJ K is originally from the favela of Diadema in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At 22 years old, this young producer is a crucial figure in the scene of new styles of baile funk called “Mandelão” and “Funk Bruxaria”. Griot Tech is the new collaboration between Burkinabé percussionist & vocalist Kaito Winse (Avalanche Kaito) and Brussels DJ Rebel Up SebCat. They explore griot music from the Sahel/Western Africa in a punchy electronic sound via SebCat on decks & effects and Kaito’s live spiritual vocals and modified calabash percussion. RaqL is one of Brussels local up & coming dj’s. She specializes in tropical and electronic bass music from Portuguese-speaking and African communities around the world. Her roots are from Cape Verde, Portugal and Angola and her sets are eclectic and energizing. Expect a blend of oriental sounds, flamenco guitar, arabic scales, postrock, drones, free jazz and more!

“La Nature” is an intimate festival, nestled in the heart of nature, exploiting a magnificent forest of the Belgian Ardenne and presenting a unique and multidisciplinary programme of arts, projects, body & soul workshops and a musical line-up, with a special place for live performances.
