On Saturday 14 June, we organise together with the amazing crew of Bongo Joe a global afterparty, to celebrate the 10 years of their label. On Friday + Saturday evening they host a Bongo Joe concert programme at the Ancienne Belgique club room (with The Space Lady, Lalalar, Cyril Cyril and more!) Our afterparty follows after the AB on Satutday night at the mysterious Chez Jacques Music Club, a little know cave club on the canal side of Molenbeek.
A great global clubbing & bass lineup with Tunisian-Swiss producer Pekodjinn, Brussels Moroccon producer Cheb Runner, the Bongo Joe dj crew (1000balles & Injuste) and the Rebel Up crew (SebCat, Drache MuMu & Moon Yé).
Starting at 23h until 6am, or a bit more 😉

and our 2nd event is Wednesday 18 June, at Brasserie Illegaal. a Sahel musical evening organised by Rebel Up, 11 11 11 comité, Curieus and Bolingo Art.
With 2 concerts of special and deep moving music from the Sahel region by Kaito Winse (Burkina Faso / Brussels) and the desert blues/rock band TisDass from Niger.
Both artists are part of our Rebel Up label and they will have vinyls, cd’s and merchandise for sale during the evening. TisDass new album Houmaïssa will be released that same week as a limited edition vinyl on our Rebel Up label in collaboration with Bolingo Art.

On this special 𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒂𝒍 spring night at Illegaal, we travel from african beats to lush caribbean vibes, from electro Maloya and strong percussion, to batida afrotech bass from Lisboa & Angola and beyond.
𝑳𝒂𝒓𝒚𝒔𝒔𝒂 𝑲𝒊𝒎 Italo-Congolese artist & DJ Laryssa Kim serves up a fiery blend of Afro-diasporic and Caribbean sounds in her high-energy, booty-moving DJ sets. Blending classic Congolese Rumba and Soukous with contemporary Afro Pop, Shatta, Gqom, Singeli, Afro-Portuguese fusion, and Caribbean gems like Bouyon, Reggaeton, Soca and Kompa—her selections are a fast-paced celebration of rhythm, movement, and joy. Expect twerking vibes, sweaty grooves, and an irresistible flow from start to finish. While she’s known for her immersive live-electronic performances and experimental compositions, her DJ sets reveal another facet of her expansive sonic world. Aux côtés de DJ Moon Yé, du collectif Belzik et de percussionnistes bruxellois, cette rencontre donne naissance à un voyage où le Maloya traditionnel fusionne avec des pulsations électroniques. 𝑫𝑱 𝑨𝑫𝑨𝑴𝑴 (Angola / Lisboa) ADAMM is the latest rising star in the Afro-Lisbon electronic scene. Born and raised in Lisbon, with Angolan roots, music has always been part of his essence, and from an early age, he has dedicated himself to reinterpreting the afrohouse matrix that defines Lisbon’s new musical landscape. ADAMM introduces techno elements to create unique electronic sounds and atmospheres, transforming his sets and productions into immersive and danceable experiences. He released his first EP through the renowned Enchufada label and has collaborations and co-productions with DJ Danifox, NiggaFox, DJ Lycox (Principe) and Vanyfox (Moonshine), among others. He has performed widely, playing at venues such as Lux Fragil and Musicbox, as well as festivals like Iminente, ID No Limits, and Musa. Hello all! This coming Friday is most likely our last Rebel Up party of the year, and most likely also our last party at Antidote, if they close at the end of this year.
This Friday 15.12 , Rebel Up and HyperInstinct crews join forces for an amazing La Baraka #1 party at Antidote!
This party will act as a fundraiser for Palestine / Gaza, with a stand of screenprinting on tshirts/sweaters/bags etc > Bring your desired item with you! Also tapas snacks available all night (triangles/loempias). All benefits will be donated to the Palestinian cause. More information will be available at the Palestinian stand, run by crew from Brussels Against Genocide.

On Tuesday 20 june, Rebel Up SebCat will play dj support together with Deejay Backstabber at the concert of the band Studio Shap Shap (all the way from Niger) at Cafee Cabron in Antwerpen.
Come and have a taste of contemporary music from Niger via Studio Shap Shap, between traditional griot sounds up to electronics. Check some of their sounds here.
on Thursday 22 june for Fete de La Musique in Brasserie de la Mule brewpub in Schaarbeek, Rebel Up SebCat plays a warmup dj set for the concert of KermesZ a l’Est.
KermesZ a l’Est are a wild bunch of anarchic musicians formed as a rough fanfare. They play punkrock and jazz mixed with uptempo balkan tones. Fire! Afterparty by DJ Calima.

On the same evening, Rebel Up SebCat will play afterparty set for Phoenician DriveEP launch at Brasserie Illegaal in Forest. Organised by their label Exag Records and also with support by Swiss groups Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp (Bongo Joe records) and Typhon.
Expect a blend of oriental sounds, flamenco guitar, arabic scales, postrock, drones, free jazz and more!
and on Saturday 24 june our big juicy cherry on your cake > La Nature festival! Since a few editions Rebel Up curates & programmes La Dome stage at this amazing and cosy alternative festival on the slopes of Baraque de Fraiture.
“La Nature” is an intimate festival, nestled in the heart of nature, exploiting a magnificent forest of the Belgian Ardenne and presenting a unique and multidisciplinary programme of arts, projects, body & soul workshops and a musical line-up, with a special place for live performances.
Such an amazing programme with many (inter)national artists & DJ’s.

Wednesday 19 Oct, the Global Club Music Network will celebrate their 10 years anniversary with a yearly opening afterparty at the Womex showcase festival.
The GCMN is a network of international DJ’s, producers, organisers and booking agents who work in the field of global club music, which Rebel Up is part of too.
The party will be at Titanic Sur Mer, an iconic riverside venue which can hold up to 200-250 people. There will be a live concert by Miroca Paris & band, a live dj set by Colombian DJ Guitto and dj sets by Rebel Up SebCat B2B Didi of Tropical Djipsies, Kosta Kostov, Makala, D Watts Riot, David Chavez Soundculture, Oonga, Boris Viande, Ali T, Chief Boima and more… plus also a jam outside on the riverside terrace.
Thursday 13 Oct, Rebel Up x Noannaos night at Bonnefooi. with SebCat, Mambele, Susobrino & Pippin. Global sounds and eclectic bass music. 22h30 until 6am. FB event here.
On Saturday 15 Oct, Rebel Up SebCat will spin at Festival de la Tour de Samme in Ittre (just 10kms south outside Bxl).
