Our first big party of 2026 @ Illegaal!!!

The collectives & labels Rebel Up and BXL Underground come together at Brasserie Illegaal through a shared devotion to bass culture. Blending Rebel Up’s global bass foundations with BXL Underground’s UK sound heritage, this night delivers a rich and truly eclectic sonic journey from dub to breaks, jungle, bass, offbeat techno and further!

this saturday Rebel Up organises their residence party at Brasserie Illegaal.

It’s time for another Globaal Illegaal party night @ Illegaal, springtime!
On this night we will take you into the Brussels underground, via guitar sounds, african vibes, afrohouse, breaks, bass and much more! Sounds from the global underground as always in the nice nightly home of Illegaal.

opening solo set with guitar, voice and lush tones.

Gajoy
she mixes afrobeat, house, hip hop, kuduro and dancehall reggae. She spent time at radio Tarmac doing shows and joined the collectives of Authentik vybz and Carbone 14.

Nika (Radio Vacarme)
she grabs the public’s attention through her impactful music selection, alternating between colourful and somber vibes so as to make the dancefloor jump and sweat.

Mambele (Bolingo)
The soul of Brussels and Bruzz/ Kiosk Radio resident. His DJ sets are pure romances on the dancefloor and can make anyone’s head melt. Nowadays he plays on everywhere in his beloved capital and keeps everyone’s hearts warm on colder days in the Brussels underground. His nightly sets range from African styles such batida, bass, afrohouse, afrotech, rave, Congolese rumba and more.

SPECIAL GUEST: Asna
DJ and producer from Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Asna defines herself as a “sound explorer”. Her talents lie not just in DJing and production, but also in visual arts. Her universe is mainly influenced by traditional African rhythms which shape the continent’s current music. She does not hesitate to revisit the jerky rhythms of coupé-décalé, Congolese rumba or even the trance of percussion and traditional songs, all with drum infused bass, raw rhythms and some spicy electro for dancefloor bliss.

This week, 4 Rebel Up gigs in Bxl

Starting on Tuesday 30 May at Botanique (Rotonde room), playing warmup dj set as Rebel Up Nightshop DJ’s or the AV live show of Ammar808. Expect some heavy electronic stambeli bass vibes!

On Thursday 1st of June, Rebel Up SebCat does his monthly residency at Kiosk Radio at 15h. Tune into livestream via www.kioskradio.com or come to the park.

On Thursday evening from 18h until 23h, Rebel Up outdoor dj set at ABY buvette at Abbaye de Forest. Free in and possibly with suprise guest Rust duo from Beirut, Libanon, and their electronic arabic sound at 20h30! Expect global grooves and electro global vibes.

Next few evenings & nights we have some great Rebel Up events in Bxl.

Thursday 16.02, expo opening / Jeudi baar at Brasserie Illegaal brewery, curated by Rebel Up, with live concerts by duo Bonzaiology (musicien de Phoenician Drive), duo Jean-Sebastien, and duo dj set/live by DJ Fresh Nunas & renowned trumpet player Aquiles Navarro (Panama/New York / International Anthem / River Down records) and SebCat.
Expo by Leonie Stolberg & Esteban Moulin.

Expect all sounds between jazz, rock, afro, latin and electronica, hybrid & eclectic.

Saturday 04.09 > Festival time! Rebel Up @ La Nature Festival (Vielsalm, BE) + Rebel Up Records artists @ Forest Sounds festival (Abbaye de Forest, Bxl)

This weekend the La Nature festival takes place from friday to sunday, an amazing electronic alternative festival in the Ardennes forest with 5 stages and a special lineup of Belgian and international artists and curated by several collectives, including Rebel Up.

On saturday we curate the Dome stage with Rebel Up style with DJ’s & live artists in jazz, global sounds, latino electronic, afrogrooves and hypnotic bass. Amazing stuff & vibes.
