Saturday 11 july we organise our next Globaal Illegaal party at Brasserie Illegaal.
Rebel Up and Baobab Music will launch the very first edition of La KZ Brussels. La KZ aims to spotlight Colombian picó soundsytem culture across Europe and bring multiple picós together in one place at Illegaal.

El Mágico Baobab and La Saramuya picós will battle it out inside the brewery,
while High’n’Irie Soundsystem will run the outdoor courtyard.

this weekend, Friday 15 + Saturday 16 May it’s the Jam In Jette festival again!

A free festival with an amazing lineup of live concerts on 2 big stages of roots reggae, jazz, global sounds, hiphop and electro. Bands such as La Groovista, Zinnekabar, Pufulet Orkestar, Muito Kaballa, Fulu Miziki, Etenesh Wassié, Re#Encounter, Clinton Fearon, Frontal XXL, Balaphonia and much more…
and also DJ’s at the Festivan stage.

On Friday 15 May, Rebel Up SebCat will play a B2B set with Gajoy at the Festivan caravan stage. Expect a set of afro bass fire and heavy worldwide bounce 🙂
Our set will be from 20h45 until 22h. Hope to see you there!

hey all, new release out by the Brazilian quintet Satanique Samba Trio, from the capital Brasilia.

For the fifteenth time, actually. After such an extensive carreer of Brazilian Rythm flasking, though, it is the first time they ramage through the Brazilian Northern traditions: in Cursed Brazilian Beats Vol. 1, they have a go at traditional styles such as the carimbó, the toada, the lambada and even the lesser-known guitarrada.

an opening B2B vinyl set between His Dudeness & SebCat, followed by a live performance by Spanish-Iranian duo Floèmee who bring ambiental, IDM electronica & breaks with vocals of Persian ghazal poetry. Rrita Jashari will bring global, oriental & bass sounds, followed by &RY (Echte Ra) and his deep house & afrohouse sound. His Dudeness & SebCat will close the night with eclectic global club sounds…
