Great news, this weekend Rebel Up is hosting the new KiosQ dj stage at Esperanzah Festival on friday & saturday. We invited Brussels crews Global Hybrid Records and Giraffes & Penguins to join us, for a real special sounds from the global underground vibe.
Also lots of great artists playing at the festival > Ibeyi, Delgres, Babylon Trio, Fanna-Fi-Allah, Saodaj, Pongo, Les Ogres de Barback, Le Motel and so much more. On sunday our friends of Radio Bistrot will take over the KiosQ stage from us.

Thurusday 25 July, from 16 to 22h, Rebel Up SebCat will spin global heartwave tunes at the Aperodroom velodroom at the new See U cultural site in Ixelles.
See U is the new cultural site in Ixelles at the old police horse cazerne, with a wooden velodroom constructed by Bruno Herzele and Elke Thuys, together with the architects of architect office Dallas and cycling group Hors Categorie, especially for the Grand Départ du Tour de France.
There are bars, foodtrucks and every thursday to saturday local Brussels DJ’s. Come for an apero or evening drink and dance to some tunes!

Echoes Of Zoo (BE) Belgian jazz cat quartet with a animalistic punk jazz sound. Spearheaded by Nathan Daems (Black Flower), Falk Schrauwen, Bart Vervaeck and Lieven van Pée. Sometimes beastly violent, then again erudite & delicate. The generosity of the band works radically contagious on audiences. With echoes from the Balkans, the middle east but just as much from the nervous urban context. In other words, our village fanfare, which is an ode to the hybridity of Molenbeek. Listen here.
Cyril Cyril(CH) Ancestral sounds from the underbelly of psychedelic folk. The duo Cyril Cyril (of La Tene / Bongo Joe Records) produces sounds that make you long for a nomadic existence in unknown mountains. Armed with a banjo, guitar, drum kit and prophetic words, they take us like a phoenix to the dance floor. Listen to their album here.
