With 2 concerts, by Brazilian group Satanique Samba Trio to celebrate their new release on 21.03 on the start of their European tour, and a warmup show by Brussels duo Trance Plantations. DJ support by SebCat & Drache MuMu.
Satanique Samba Trio is an instrumental avant-garde quintet (yep, not really a trio), founded in 2003 with the sole purpose to be an idiosyncratic force on the Brazilian musical landscape. No Brazilian traditional rhythm remains unscathed on Satanique Samba Trio’s trail of desecration. From samba to forró, from bossa nova to lambada and carimbó, this Brasília-based quintet (sometimes sextet) has been adding virulence, dissonance and provocation to Brazil’s musical heritage. Their efforts on deconstructing Brazilian music’s most persistent clichés have resulted in 15 records so far. After a (post-)covid hiatus, they finally hit Europe again to promote their upcoming 7-inch vinyl .‘Cursed Brazilian Beats Vol. 1’, to be released on the Brussels label Rebel Up! Records. The 7inch will be available at the show!
And afterwards we do a Rebel Up x ECHT! afterparty @ Bonnefooi bar, as ECHT! also plays their new album release concert in the big room of the Ancienne Belgique. Expect a full lineup with underground electronic & global sounds by SebCat, Papelón Kifesh, Moon Yé and DJ Erd.

Rebel Up invites 𝐆𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 The legendary Goulash Disko festival is turning 10y this year, and Brussels is on the map of celebrations with a few events coming up in the next months! Goulash Disko is a human-sized, community-driven festival taking place on the shores of the Adriatic sea, on the remote island of Vis, Croatia. It’s a big family of beautiful souls, sharing the same love for global, underground music, and the celebration of diversity.

𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 (𝐂𝐎) Luis Felipe Hernandez aka Bleepolar is a DJ / producer hailing from Colombia, bridging the gap between organic and electronic music. He learned music as a drummer, then took his knowledge into the world of music producing and later DJ’ing. Since his debuts as a techno and house producer, he started integrating the rich folkloric tradition of his homeland, with cumbia or champeta. After a 2,5 years covid absence, our Rebel Up Soundclash night will be back where it all started @ OCCII venue in Amsterdam on wednesday 4th of may.
It will be a concert evening with special guest Monsieur Doumani, a trio of psychedelic folk rock from Cyprus!!! Check out their amazing recent album ‘Pissourin’ on Glitterbeat. Played with tzouras (small bouzouki) trombone and acoustic guitarand using electronics, effects and loop pedals to venture into a world that is refreshing and exciting.
