Peruvian DJ and producer Lukrø is the co-founder of Peruvian bass label Matraca. Originally from Lima, but based in Mexico D.F. where he runs the label, produces his output and runs various bass parties. Hidden behind a mask, he brings the vanguard of the new cumbia, juke, footwork, baile funk, moombahton and global bass alive on the dancefloor.

Rebel Up SebCat
In the Brussels global scene, Rebel Up has become a household name through their party nights of contemporary *world* music and electronic ethnic sounds allover the city. SebCat is a fulltime musical nexus: he hosts the Nightshop radio show on Radio Campus Bxl, curator of countless Bxl parties & nights and he runs a DIY vinyl distro with the better global sounds. He has just kickstarted the Rebel Up label (with releases from Portugal, Angola, Ghana, Iraq, Mexico, Brazil, and beyond). Expect a wild set of the freshest clubby global sounds, unshazamable!

Beat Brother (Global Hybrid)
Beat Brother is a Brussels music producer and DJ who’s influenced by world percussions & bass music. From global beats to footwork, from psychedelic cumbia to baile funk, from juke to twerk, from tarraxo to ghetto funk. Offering the perfect mix for the moment and making dancers discover rare music sub-families are a big part of his signature sound. One of his tracks has been released on a compilation by the label University of Tropical Sound and also has an EP coming out.

Le Grand Méchant Loop is global underground DJ and percussionist based in Brussels. He shares his passion for global music through the amazingly wild Giraffes & Penguins events that he has been organizing since 2017 with Rebel Up. As a DJ, he loves to build eclectic and surprising DJ sets and to spice them up with live percussion.

Tropical DJipsies (Giraffes & Penguins)
They united their feminine forces just before the International Women’s Rights Day. This mysterious female quartet has members from Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal and Argentina and are part of the Brussels global underground attached to local crews like Giraffes & Penguins, Rebel Up and MEDEX. Global dancefloor sounds from all corners of the world, from feminist to activist songs and just pure global beat bangers, attached to their own southern roots and backgrounds as well as sounds from other continents.
