This weekend the La Nature festival takes place from friday to sunday, an amazing electronic alternative festival in the Ardennes forest with 5 stages and a special lineup of Belgian and international artists and curated by several collectives, including Rebel Up.

On saturday we curate the Dome stage with Rebel Up style with DJ’s & live artists in jazz, global sounds, latino electronic, afrogrooves and hypnotic bass. Amazing stuff & vibes.

This thursday BRUZZ invites Rebel Up for their Rooftop summer show, where they invite DJ’s to talk about their upcoming open air gigs as well as a live mix.

Rebel Up SebCat & Renaud Arents from Pianofabriek will talk about CHAUD, the closing weekend on friday & saturday with Tropical DJipsies, docu screening of Les Nouvelles Guerilleres, Rebel Up, Le grand Mechant Loop, Rafael Aragon and concert by Kel Assouf.

The Microtunes X Breakfeest event is organised by Micromarché as part of their Recup Ton Quartier / Recup Je Wijk project. Listen to some tunes, do a workshop, have a pancake breakfast!

Out now: electronic jazz remix Rafael Aragon of Mamari

Brussels based global electronic producer Rafael Aragon made an amazing remix of ‘Mamari’, the single & title song of German jazz groove band Muito Kaballa Power Ensemble.

This remix takes the listener on a dreamy journey. Starting with birds in nature, passing by dubby pianos and beautiful synth melodies, the heavy groove inevitably hushes you into trance. The remix album will be released at the end of June.

Our monthly show of Rebel Up Nightshop for Radio Campus Bruxelles, with 9 albums of the month between folk, jazz, psychedelic rock, arabic experimentalism, afro bass and more.
