This week, 4 Rebel Up gigs in Bxl

Starting on Tuesday 30 May at Botanique (Rotonde room), playing warmup dj set as Rebel Up Nightshop DJ’s or the AV live show of Ammar808. Expect some heavy electronic stambeli bass vibes!

On Thursday 1st of June, Rebel Up SebCat does his monthly residency at Kiosk Radio at 15h. Tune into livestream via www.kioskradio.com or come to the park.

On Thursday evening from 18h until 23h, Rebel Up outdoor dj set at ABY buvette at Abbaye de Forest. Free in and possibly with suprise guest Rust duo from Beirut, Libanon, and their electronic arabic sound at 20h30! Expect global grooves and electro global vibes.

on Friday 2 June, La Tumbia release party of Moli Del Tro label at La Vallée, with live set by Memo Pimiento and dj set by Rebel Up SebCat & Moli Del Tro. Electro cumbia experimental vibes!

This weekend, triple Rebel Up action during 3 days of the Nuits Sonores festival in Brussels and the brocante day at Allee du Kaai. Busy programme indeed!

Starting on friday 28 sept > BRASS X REBEL UP, Night #1 / The Loop
Rebel Up curates an electro latino night for Nuits Sonores @ BRASS venue in Forest.

with an international lineup of live acts and deejays from the latin underground:
Nova Materia (CL/FR/ live), Usted (ES/ live), Meneo (GT/ live) and Rebel Up DJ’s, Muevelo DJ’s (AR/CL/FR) and Andr’s R (VZ).

Expect everything from experimental electro latino pop to 8 bit reggaeton, electropical, dembow, cumbia beats, moombahton and beyond!

and oh yeah, it’s FREE IN! 🙂

Next day, saturday 29 sept, there is the brocante at Allee du Kaai with 2nd hand market, vinyl market, live concerts and dj sets.Rebel Up will be present with the vinyl distro but also spinning tunes during the afternoon on the Giraffe & Penguins soundsystem.

Nuits Sonores Night #2 > Rebel Up DJ Leblanc @ African Takeover night in Bozar, Terarken room.

with an international lineup of live acts and deejays from the african underground:
Les Amazones d’Afrique, Batida apresenta: The Almost Perfect DJ (PT), DJ Nigga Fox (PT / Principe), DJ Kampire (UG / Nyege Tapes) and Rebel Up Leblanc.

from Leblanc, expect an ethnic warm up opening dj set from western africa into the sahel and afterwards all night long global sounds, South-African electronic, western african traditional,  electro – kuduro mix and more.

Also on saturday evening, but not part of the festival, Rebel Up artists Babylon Trio will perform at the Ancienne Belgique, in the big room!

It’s the goodbye concert of Belgium’s punk post rock band Madensuyu, after 25 years.
Babylon Trio will open the evening with a live set at 19h, and we might even have some vinyls of their debut album ‘Habibi’ for sale! 🙂

On sunday 30 sept, day #3 at La Vallée during the last day of Nuits Sonores festival.

Hosted by Bxl collective Les Actionnaires, there will be another vinyl market and the Rebel Up distro will be present.

With art installations of various artists and concerts by Kasparov Not Kasparov and Die Wilde Jagd and DJ’s La souris et l’éléphant b2b Tushen Raï, Nixie’s and Pim’s (Sheitan Brothers) b2b Prince Off.
