Rebel Up Global Sessions livestream until end of June

we hope you are still doing fine.

With Rebel Up we have started hosting special livestream sessions 2x per week, to share music into your livingroom for every moment of the day.

Every wednesday and saturday evening from 20h to midnight, we host up to 4 livestreams on our Twitch channel, played live by DJ’s and artists from allover the world.

So far we have had livestream sets by Rebel Up SebCat, Didi (Tropical DJipsies), Rafael Aragon, FreakOuTV crew DJ’s SunRa Bullock, Wuzi, Jackie Jackpot, Ilia G & FlexNo, XOGN and a Rokeya live set.

Last thursday we also had our monthly Rebel Up & Friends quarantine session via Kiosk Radio. With special guest Rokeya, a female italo-bangladeshi producer from Italy on the Adriatic coast side for a DJ set of global beats. Rebel Up had a lush session from the sahel to the islands.

we hope you are doing fine and taking care of yourself and your loved ones.

Rebel Up has been staying active on the radio, livestream and mixtape front! Quite some action going on, follow our Mixcloud or FB page to see all.

Every week tuesday we do a quarantine mixtape for BRUZZ radio instead of our live radio show. here is yesterday’s mixtape, tracklisting in comments.

Tonight (wedn 29/04) from 22h to 23h30 Rebel Up SebCat will be live on the stream for Kinky Star Café and their Kinky Karantaine livestream sessions via Twitch. see all info in FB event.
Expect a session from tropical rock to noisy global sounds and beyond. Sounds from the global underground!

A live video mapping performance by Maria Ilia, on a large scale mapping installation, that flows in harmony with the sounds of a thoughtfully selected line-up, invites the greater public of Brussels to experience a festive atmosphere during the 4 evenings of Bright Brussels Festival of Lights!

The RS Produçoes (‘Rinchoa Stress’) collective from the Rinchoa northern Lisboa suburb was launched in 2016 by a then 17-year-old Narciso, and is made up of DJ/producer Nuno Beats, DJs Nulo and Lima, producer Farucox and MC Pimenta. Their album ‘Bagdad Style’ on Lisboa label Principe Discos last year features 8 original compositions by DJ Narciso and Nuno Beats and moves from “muscular batida” to “metallic cargaa” via “semi-tarraxos” and ravey house and kuduro jams. The crew plays regular shows at Príncipe’s monthly Noite Príncipe parties in Lisbon and will be playing in Brussels for the 1st time. Quente, puxa!

PLLOW (Bloom Hill / Kiosk Radio)
PLLOW is a female Cameroonian/Belgian DJ & co-founder of the Brussels music agency Bloom Hill. With this eclectic DJ, you can expect a set between afro rhythms and bassy sounds.
