Saturday 22 April > Festival des Cultures Urbaines in Schaarbeek at the Baraque a Brique cultural squat.

An event created by artists from allover the world who come together to show their solidarity with the Peruvian families in Yangas, a small mountain town in Santa Rosa de Quives District, which got severely hit by the floods.

Then next day on sunday, Rebel Up! plays on the street at the free Ô de Molenbeek festival. Ô’de Molenbeek is a cozy street theater festival in the heart of Molenbeek. The square at metro station Graaf Van Vlaanderen for one day turned into a scene of circus, street theater, animation and initiation of clowning to real acrobatics for the young (at heart)! Food, drinks and much more.

Rebel Up! djs SebCat & LeBlanc will play warm up, cool down and freestyle street dance tunes inbetween all the acts!

Saturday 18 May > double Rebel Up! fun in Molenbeek, 1080 BXL *free in*

Hey Brussels,

Saturday afternoon, we’ll be spinning various soft n folky global sounds in Molenbeek as part of the local Wijkfeest/Fete du Quartier in (Parc) Bonneviepark, with lots of animation and activities for children. It runs from 13:00 – 18:00 and it’s free in for young and old.

and for those of you who like to go fun dancing on Saturday night, we’ll be playing cumbia and tropical global tunes at the *Cumbia meets Balkan* party in the new Chez Jacques music club together with our Argentinian friend Chico Parany.
