On Saturday, it’s Forest Sounds festival again in the cosy green Abbaye de Forest.

An amazing lineup with Crolles, Meril Wubslin, Black Flower, Songo, Lou K, Amami, Meridian Brothers and more on the Antitapas and Brass stages. Also a DJ stage by Kiosk Radio via ABY buvette with DJ’s Monstera Occulta, Fred Kramer, Prins Zonder Carnaval, DJ Backstabber, Sylvia, Rebel Up Records B2B Bongo Joe Records and XOGN.

Rebel Up @ Inauguration sculpture with long jump athlete Mike Powell, metro Houba-Brugmann, Bxl

Not your average dj event, one for the athletic/olympic sports fans.

This thursday Rebel Up will play a dj set outside at metro station Houba-Brugmann for the inauguration of the sculpture ’30 august 1991, Tokyo’ of Mike Powell’s world record long jump at the 1990 Tokyo olympics.

American athlete Mike Powell will be present and do a long jump for the public and give a speech. The sculpture is made by Pierre Larauza of Brussels dance/performance collective CIE Transitscape.
