Philippe Nullens aka Le Grand Méchant Loop is a DJ and percussionist based in Brussels. He’s passionate about world music and has built over the years a large collection of songs from almost everywhere. He will take us on a surprising journey, spiced up with live percussions, where West-African griots meet Colombian gaiteros or Pakistani nomads… So let’s get ready for a musical patchwork full of groove that will move our little pigs’ pawls, because as he says, “I prefer to make pigs dance rather than eat them!”

Poet, eclectic spirit, between Dominican bloodlines and Italian culture, Dany aka Dj Chokkou is a DJ, singer, organisor and radio host. Djêu – a Capeverdian music group – owes its name to l’Ile aux Oiseaux, which closes the Bay of Porto Grande, a strong symbol for the natives of São Vicente and Santo Antão. The group was born from the meeting between the brothers Elton and Valdir Da Cruz Lima and the singer Mónica Landim, who are gathered around the same desire to share their culture and the heritage of their country using a traditional repertory. Today, the music of the archipelago continues to develop and modernize thanks to the works of remarkable songwriters. It is in this idea of opening to the “current music” that the combo has just recorded his first EP called “Preto I Branco” at La CLEF (Saint-Germain-en-Laye).

Los Orioles reload traditionnal tropical music with their own fresh touch of afrobeat and dub breaks. This super hot septet from Biel/Bienne (CH) was initiated by Adrien Guerne in 2013 and is fronted by swiss garage rock legend Dany Digler. They deliver continuous waves of shaking licks and tremolo screams that surf over a groovy and rock-solid cumbia base.
