The Amsterdam roots festival is about to start and this sunday there’s a free world music festival in the Oosterpark. See programme of the Roots Open Air day here.
Tips: go and see all-female Russian polka-punk band Iva Nova, the rumba mestiza of Zulu 9.30, the London-infused Algerian band Fantazia and the diasporic mashup sounds from Berlin’s Nomad Soundsystem.

On sunday the 24th of June, there will also be a free world music festival in the Julianapark in Utrecht. more info here.
