This weekend > Bxl 12 may & Gent 13 may!

Hey all,
Upcoming weekend some Rebel Up action!

Starting on Friday night at L’Impasse bar in Ixelles, Drache Musicale & Friends w/ SebCat as his guest. from 22h onwards. Vinyl only!
Free in @ 17 Place du Châtelain, Ixelles.

On Saturday 13 May, a whole afternoon, evening & night of music in Ghent at the Chinastraat / Bar Bricolage on the dockside area. Organised by La Nature Festival as a warm up to their main festival in June.

The event starts with a vinyl record fair in the afternoon from 14h onwards until 18h30 @ Bar Bricolage outdoor area. Rebel Up, Souma Records and countless other good labels and sellers will be there! FB event of record fair.

There will be outdoor music too, with DJ sets by Souma Records, Rebel Up SebCat, Rafael Aragon and Tropical DJipies crew (Didi & Raql) until 22h.

After this the music & party will go inside at Chinastraat venue next door, with these artists on the programme >>>

Starting in the morning (for real) at the Cureghem/Anderlecht canal side.
The Microtunes X Breakfeest event is organised by Micromarché as part of their Recup Ton Quartier / Recup Je Wijk project. Listen to some tunes, do a workshop, have a pancake breakfast!

Gent collectives Huna Sounds, Democrazy & Tweeden Asem organise a record fair with lots of great sellers > labels, distro’s and collectors.

The Rebel Up label & distro will be there with our releases + other titles. More sellers who will be present are SOUMA, XOGN, Calacas, Labi & Funk, GroovyRecords, Ubuntu & more.

Sat 5 Oct: Rebel Up in Paris > Independant Label Market @ Halle des Blancs Manteaux + Rebel Up afterparty @ L’Alimentation Générale

This weekend, Rebel Up Records will be in Paris, at the yearly Independent Label Market in Halle des Blanc Manteaux (metro Hotel de Ville / Saint Paul). A true meet & greet with some of the contemporary labels of the moment, see the full lineup of stands! with DJ sets, live showcases and more.

and in the night followed by Rebel Up afterparty in L’Alimentation Générale from 23h onwards. with dj set by Rebel Up SebCat & Rafael Aragon + live set by Memo Pimiento Electric Orchestra!

Expect a night filled with electro cumbia, tropical bass, oriental trance and afrobeats.

Sun 7 april Rebel Up label & distro @ Festival Lezarts Urbains, Le Tour a Plomb, Bxl

On sunday 7 april, the Rebel Up label & distro will be at the record fair on Lezarts Urbains festival.

The record fair will focus on black music & hiphop culture and is from 14h til 21h.
Our Rebel Up distro will be there from 14h to 18h.

All day plenty of hiphop action going on in several rooms in the venue with many concerts, slam poets, as well as workshops and more.

Sat & Sun 7/8 April > Rebel Up Records @ Independent Label Market, WIELS, Bxl

Rebel Up Records was started just a few weeks ago and we got invited to be at the Independent Label Market, 1st Brussels edition in the WIELS art center and with a long list of respected international labels, just check!
And totally free in! 🙂

We will share the stand with our friends of the French Akuphone label and next to Discos Horoscopo (Peru), good fun!

During the market, it’s not just vinyl selling, but also workhops, concerts and DJ sets. Every hour the DJ’s will switch. Rebel Up SebCat will spin a vinyl set from 12 to 13h on saturday.
