Hey all, this last week of June plenty of Rebel Up events in Brussels…
These are our last ones before a little break of almost 3 weeks.
(we will be back on 19 july with a big Globaal Illegaal party!)

Starting with wednesday 25 June at Vaux Hall in Parc Royal,
our So Scherp event organised by the city of Brussels , by Rebel Up together with Drache MuMu.

Friday 27 June, we have our Rebel Up & Friends evening at Leo Bar, LionCity Molenbeek.
with Rebel Up SebCat, Moon Yé and special guest Bob Le Voyageur.

A special Colombian night with El Leon Pardo sexteto concert. Electro colombian band with ancestral sounds of the gaita (kiusi) flute, trumpets, percussion and electronics!
First ever show in Brussels.

A ‘pico’ is a typical Colombian soundsystem as can be found on the Caribbean coast, with it’s huge width and fluorescent colors. El Magico Baobab hails from Netherlands, where they build a pico soundsystem according to the Colombian measurements and with a hand-painted screen design by the famous Colombian pico painter William Guitterez Peñaloza.

DJ’s and live groups will be playing on this pico soundsystem for a true Colombian tropical vibe – cumbia, baila cantaos, currulao, tambora, gaita, champeta, salsa and more….
+ food from latin cuisine!

this wednesday @ Bonnefooi, Rebel Up invites the Colombian-Brussels based group Los Gaiteros de Bruselas, with their traditional colombian gaita flute & percussive music.

Thursday 10.11, album release concert my Brussels groove band M.Chuzi at Pianofabriek St Gilles. Their album Papara is releasing this week and what way to celebrate it!

This Friday 15.07, Globaal Illegaal #3 at the Brasserie Illegaal, it’s our last Globaal Ilegaal party this summer, so don’t miss out!

A big South American night with lots of international guests from Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico and Argentina, as well as local Bxl dj”s from Spain, Portugal, Peru and Venezuela

Hosted by Rebel Up & Cumbia Reggae Dub Al Parque soundsystem, doors open at 18h with some good cumbia & reggae vibes. Also from 18h food provided by social project CollectActif, delicious vegetarian dishes for your belly.
