SPACE LADY (US)
T H E S P A C E L A D Y is a street-performing singer based in Colorado, USA. Originally beginning on the streets of Boston in the late 70s and has recently begun playing again She has travelled through the stars to bring us the most wonderfully alien take on electronic street-song, channelled through a soul that has taken in UFO sightings, hiding from the US government, homelessness, communing, hitchhiking, and over two decades of playing the street corners, storefronts, and subways of America. A Casio battery-powered keyboard, vocal mic and echo & phaser controls are all the ingredients required for a live experience to align the spheres.

BIRD PEOPLE (AT)
Bird People is the solo and collaborative project of Uli Rois, who also runs Feathered Coyote Records. Aural celebrations…

Check out this lineup! > the amazingly exotic Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band (Thailand!), Kriminal Hammond Inferno (BE), our good buddies Maga Bo (BR/US) & Lowdjo (BE) and an outside live set by Lapin Cru (BE)

paradise molam
The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band
brings Molam folk & lovely Thai party music from the ’60s and ’70s in a modern sexy sound. DJ’s Maft Sai and Chris Menist put out reissues on Finders Keepers and Soundway and as a result of the succes, they formed this Thai live band. Smong the musicians there’s the 72-year old Sawai Kaewsombat on khaen mouth organ and Kammao Perdtanon aka the ‘Jimi Hendrix of the Phin’ (thai guitar lute). These 2 icons of the Molam sound of the Northern Isan region of Thailand are accompanied by young percussionists and the DJ’s.

Maga Bo
‘s sound is drenched in deep Brazilian rhythms (maracatu, samba reggae, capoeira…), with dark bass and heavy layers of percussion as a perfect symbiose of organic & electronic sounds. organische en elektronische klanken, inspired by folklore, hip hop and soundsystem culture. Dancing assured! Check this recent Brazilian underground compilation that he compiled!
