Thursday 16.02, expo opening / Jeudi baar at Brasserie Illegaal brewery, curated by Rebel Up, with live concerts by duo Bonzaiology (musicien de Phoenician Drive), duo Jean-Sebastien, and duo dj set/live by DJ Fresh Nunas & renowned trumpet player Aquiles Navarro (Panama/New York / International Anthem / River Down records) and SebCat.
Expo by Leonie Stolberg & Esteban Moulin.

Expect all sounds between jazz, rock, afro, latin and electronica, hybrid & eclectic.

Rebel Up weekend action once more!

On Friday we organise our 1st big Giraffes & Penguins party again since +2 years in the VK Vaartkapoen venue in Molenbeek. An Arab Bass night with artists from the Maghreb, Syria and Brussels.

We have a great lineup for you, with live sets by 2 special guests Rizan Said (keyboard player & composer of Omar Souleyman / Syria) and the percussive electronics by NURI (Tunisia / Shouka label). Also dj sets by local spinners Hiskhek Bishek, Tropical DJipsies, Rebel Up SebCat and Le Grand Mechant Loop as well as visuals by VJ Jan Vorst.

It will be a wild night and deep dive into the large pool of electronic arabic worldwide sounds.

Listen festival is finally on again this week for 1st time since 2019! Such an amazing programme, 5 nights of music allover Brussels!

On saturday 02.04 Rebel Up & Crammed Discs team up with the VK Vaartkapoen venue with an amazing diverse lineup. Schroothoop trio from Brussels on their instruments made from recycled trash, Palestinian duo Zenobia and their electro-dabke sound and DJ set by Acid Arab, plus Rebel Up & Rrita Jashari on the dj decks for more dancefloor fun.
