REBEL UP! SEBCAT
Originator of the Rebel Up! DJ collective, their infamous parties are no secret to the Brussels global underground and beyond. From a techno kick to a melodic clarinet, Alizarina mixes different influences: Techno, Klezmer, Gypsy and Balkan beats… Fruit of travels and a strongly developed curiosity, his music will take you on a modern trip through his special Ethno-Techno Tzigane sound. Just a few months ago, he released his debut album ‘Melodic Blossoms’ on Global Hybrid, an album that sublimely bridges tradition with the modern.
TOHM (Fanfara Electronica)
One of the originators of Global Hybrid crew that host many amazingly wild parties in Brussels and part of the Fanfara Electronica. His playground is a free and liberated mix of the electronic universe and world music. Tohm brings deep tribal sounds, a spirit for the freedom of wild electronic celebrations, ethnic sounds to dancefloor with a kicking beat!
Birthday boy Rafael also joins us! His obsessive curiosity has him digging through everything from latin beats to oriental melodies, unearthing unique samples that he (re)mixes, twists and polishes with a watchmaker’s precision. Rafael’s music is demanding but light-hearted, intelligent but down to earth, and overcomes musical language barriers with its lack of stylistic limitations.

Muevelo has finally landed in Brussels, this is their 1st party and surely not the last!
The party originally hails from Paris, with monthly residences in venues such as l’Alimentation Générale or l’International and always a flurry of special guests from Latin America & elsewhere. The parties specialise in furious *tropical* music, the biggest shakers from Latin America, the Caribbean & beyond.
Rebel Up!, Max le Daron, Grandpamini, Pedrolito et MC C-Imperatriz will put the dancefloor on fire with Reggaeton, Merengue, Moombahton, Cumbia, Dancehall, Tropical Bass and more.
Heat allover, that’s MUEVELO mami ! Ya tu sabes.
The Muevelo triple crew >
(Muevelo / Pigalle Paris Radio)
French-Chilean producer & DJ, his soundculture started with salsa and hiphop, but quickly changed into new African & Latin-American sounds which he puts in his all out party mix. Former DJ resident of the legendary “Ghetto Tiers Monde” parties, famous for his mashup blends of rough sounds with unknown tunes of cumbia, kuduro, merengue and coupé décalé.
(Muevelo / Groovalizacion Radio)

Daniel Fernando Wahl alias Daferwa was born in Tübingen and raised in a Mexican-
German household. From an early age on he got in touch with a broad variety of Latin-American music as well as Rap, Hip Hop, House, Reggae, Dancehall, Dub and UK Sounds. His sets are innovative and rhythmically trips. From melodic and funky Beats, to hip moving Dembow Sounds to syncopated and percussive 4x 4, or halftime bouncy stuff. Strictly spoken – he doesn’t gives a shit about genres. Since 2005 Daferwa has been actively contributing to Cologne’s nightlife. In 2007, he founded the MASH IT UP! platform in Cologne; in 2009 he became resident DJ and
freelancing autor for WDR Funkhaus Europa (Germanys N°1 public radio station for Global Music) writing programs and conducting in-depth interviews. He’s of the main honcho’s behind and German global parties such as Mash It Up! (Cologne) and Global Player (Krefeld & Dusseldorf) . Having played many renowned festivals & parties such as Sziget (HU), Fusion Festival (DE) and supporting many international live bands and artists, he knows how to get a global party going. Be ready for some Mexican wildness with German precision 🙂
Part of the crazy fun Muevelo crew from Paris and now Brussels, busy DJ at Radio Groovalizacion, Radio Pigalle, Radio CapSao, Radio Anáhuac Mayab and Radioglobal.org. Pedrolito aka Pierre Lara is a DJ/Digger who’s crazy about tropical bass and latino sounds from allover. He especially loves to dig up nueva cumbia and share his discoveries through his “Dale amor a la cumbia que la cumbia te lo devuelve” mixtapes. Ya tu sabes!
