Rebel Up invites 𝐆𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥
The legendary Goulash Disko festival is turning 10y this year, and Brussels is on the map of celebrations with a few events coming up in the next months! Goulash Disko is a human-sized, community-driven festival taking place on the shores of the Adriatic sea, on the remote island of Vis, Croatia. It’s a big family of beautiful souls, sharing the same love for global, underground music, and the celebration of diversity.

On 15 april, a night of live music, international DJ’s, food, visuals and more!

He hosts eclectic radio shows & sessions on Radio Campus Bruxelles, BRUZZ and Kiosk Radio. Expect a exploration of contemporary electronic global sounds, grooves, bass and mysterious balkan vibes.

Rafael Aragon’s music is trance-inducing, powerful yet delicate, constantly changing and continuously breaking borders. Mystic chimes, ritual drums and witchcraft music meet raving kicks, deep basslines and electronic polyrythms to provide a rich, dancy and psychedelic experience! Goulash Disko veteran and ambassador, Rafael will bring some Komiza fire to Brasserie Illegaal, freshly landed after his first ever Japan tour.

Sportifs et hors compétition, les champions de l’équipe à Bernard ont traversé l’Europe de l’Est en courant, jusqu’aux portes de l’Orient. Les joggeurs de demain reviennent maintenant avec un répertoire festif et athlétique, dopé(s) à l’électro. Ce que ces spartiates en survêt’ préfèrent, c’est suer sur scène. Ils branchent les synthés, lustrent les cuivres… C’est parti pour la boum du futur, nostalgique mais visionnaire, musclée mais sensible. Il faut s’échauffer avant d’y aller, mais surtout ne pas les rater!

Based in Berlin, born in Chile and raised all-around western Europe, DJ, producer, journalist and activist Alma Linda is a dancefloor magician, with an open heart and a sharing soul. Her music breaks down borders and is inspired by rhythms from diverse cultural backgrounds, and united through the pulse of electronic beats. She blends these worlds, melodies and musical memories into her most personal stories, delivered right from her bare soul, preaching emancipation and self-love as a political act.

Luis Felipe Hernandez aka Bleepolar is a DJ / producer hailing from Colombia, bridging the gap between organic and electronic music. He learned music as a drummer, then took his knowledge into the world of music producing and later DJ’ing. Since his debuts as a techno and house producer, he started integrating the rich folkloric tradition of his homeland, with cumbia or champeta. As he develloped as an artist, he kept widening his inspirations to afro-latin music in general, and lately dived into the new sounds of urban Africa, focusing on genres like Afrohouse and Amapiano, while keeping the deep, minimal and elegant electronic aesthetic that became his signature sound.
