Wednesday 19 Oct, the Global Club Music Network will celebrate their 10 years anniversary with a yearly opening afterparty at the Womex showcase festival.

The GCMN is a network of international DJ’s, producers, organisers and booking agents who work in the field of global club music, which Rebel Up is part of too.

The party will be at Titanic Sur Mer, an iconic riverside venue which can hold up to 200-250 people. There will be a live concert by Miroca Paris & band, a live dj set by Colombian DJ Guitto and dj sets by Rebel Up SebCat B2B Didi of Tropical Djipsies, Kosta Kostov, Makala, D Watts Riot, David Chavez Soundculture, Oonga, Boris Viande, Ali T, Chief Boima and more… plus also a jam outside on the riverside terrace.

Free in, doors 22h until 6am

this saturday 5 Dec, our friends of Drache Musicale (Radio Panik) are organising a fun & FREE global night @ café Le Louvre at the Parvis of St Gilles.
special guest is our friend Boris Viande, better known as a super good electro-balkan producer! He runs the VLAD Ghetto Folk label and plays live trumpet during his live & dj sets!

Womex 2014 Santiago de Compostela aftermath

Last friday our nightly Rebel Up! dj showcase set at Womex went quite well, such fun we had 🙂

Before this in the afternoon, we had an amazing multi dj session at the Wapapura solar disco as part of the Global Club Music network that we are part of, with dj’s such as Kosta Kostov, Boris Viande, Sauvage FM, Darius Darek, Sound Culture, Esta Polyesta, Criolina, Dala Dala, Miriam Kokako music, Evviva Show and even a special guest performance of Carmen (Gato Preto!!) . then our showcase in Sala Capitol. So nice to see all the true party folks staying n dancing until the very end of our rough world hopping set. Near the end we did a special improvisation with our Canadian friends Tamar (vocals) & Briga (on violin) who improvised on our balkan tallava beats.
